our story

Nicole | The Storyteller & visionary

Nicole Morten is an award-winning former Investigative Television News Reporter who has worked for both CBS and NBC affiliates in Florida and Texas. Her 10 year career in news took her as far as Ghana, Africa where she produced a documentary on Child | Human Trafficking that aired on CBS. During her time as a reporter, she shut down multiple local nursing homes for resident abuse and neglect and even worked with local non-profits to help children in the foster system find forever families. Telling stories has always been a passion of hers, which was the fuel behind “Water to Wine Productions.” Before she’d hit the street for her assignment each day, her late news director, Mike George, would always say, “Nicole, go turn that Water to Wine!”

”Everyone has a story,” says Nicole. “It’s a matter of taking the time to truly dig and listen to that person’s journey. When you truly listen, it will eventually lead you to the heart of their story.”

It took Nicole 28 years to find her soulmate, Chris Lamb. They have 4 little nuggets: Ainsley and Hudson (7-year-old twins); Charli (5); and Grayson (6 months).

Chris | lead drone pilot

Chris had no idea what he was getting into when he married Nicole! After Chris and Nicole tied the knot, he <quickly> sharpened his skills as a wedding videographer, wedding officiant, commercial drone pilot and corporate cinematographer.

"Being able to work with Nicole is an outlet for me, since it's completely different from what I do every day at the Fire Department. "When you have a career like she does, it's really neat to be able to see your creative work come to life once the final product is delivered," says Chris. "She's truly a magician, editing 'surgeon' and artist."

Chris began his career in paramedicine at the age of 18. He is an established Paramedic | Firefighter and Field Training Officer for the Bryan Fire
Department. Chris' expertise in the UAV (Drone) industry initiated the Bryan Fire Department’s Aerial (Drone) Rapid Response Team. He's also a Medic for the Brazos County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team; and has also worked as the Robertson County EMS Chief and Flight Medic for St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.

Nicole and Chris often get asked what their recipe is for working together daily and not getting sick of eachother. Nicole says, "For us, it's how we get to see each other every day, and believe it or not, spend quality time together. He's truly my other half. Plus, when you're married to your best friend -- life is good!"
